  1. Hi Patrick.

I do not have any mid or low frequency hearing on the right. So any slight variation to my HF hearing made a big difference to understanding speech.

However, my audiogram has remained the same since 2005, so not as difficult as yours.

I have tinnitus, I don`t think it affected my audiogram, but shows I hear more frequencies than I do.

I don`t know if this has helped you at all, but I hope that your hearing will settle down in time. This message has had to be short. I could post more in the open forum.

    Cheers
    John.

    Hi John,
I saw your posting in the DIY thread that your hearing varies. You are the first I have seen to post that. I think I am experiencing similar problems. Over the last year I have had more audiograms done than I can remember. And my numbers do fluctuate. My Audi thinks it is my Tinnitus causing the numbers to fluctuate. Many of the tones of the Audigram match the pitch and frequencies of the ringing of my Tinnitus and makes it difficult to hear the tones. The Audi has started plotting them in Excel and using averages to program my aids. Some days these numbers seem ok, but other days they do not. So my experience with aids has been a roller coaster.

How are you dealing with your changes? Since you self program are you making daily changes?

    Thanks,
    Patrick
