Thread: BAHA Abutment - Pain while sleeping

  1. Question BAHA Abutment - Pain while sleeping

I wake up a couple times each night due to pain from laying on my side. I can typically roll over and go right back to sleep. Essentially, the pain is from where the skin pulls on the abutment.

Has anyone experienced this and/or more importantly figured out a way to solve this? Any discussion is appreciated. Thank you!

  2. Default

I have experienced this Pain and I do two things every night to help stop this pain. First I make sure I have the little plastic baha cap on before I go to bed and if in pain I take a couple of over the counter benydrl pills.
    Best regards

    John
