I agree, RIC style aids can be fit to any degree of loss. In terms of price, Costco and Sam's Club are about the same, and both are much cheaper than your typical audiologist. As far as Sam's Club goes, you can get a super power receiver in a custom canal mold (doesn't need a full shell) with the 64 and 96 channel models of RIC. There are also a variety of sizes of custom in the ear models as well. I'm not as familiar with the Costco lines available, but I think their website has pretty decent information about what's available.
