    I bet many "hearing care professionals" will hate or not embrace the product.

    Face it, we are a winy lot -- at least many are. That customer will overload support.

    Those HCPs that aren't among the best will complain they are overworked already and don't want the customer minutes away from requesting a change.

    If those claims are true, we all should throw our aids and get those 3D. It seems like exagerrated claim

    I am skeptical too- within all of this marketing gibberish, I don't see any "substance" to this claim.

    Doesn't sound much different that the OPN claims. Look back at any brand for several models and the claims parallel today's hype.

    The main take-away I see from this is the remote programming capability. All the other claims will sort themselves out eventually when actual users will have the chance to try it out to confirm or discredit them.

    What I'm hoping for is that the remote programming capability doesn't need to be done "live", with the HCP and the patient be connected at the same time via a scheduled appointment, even though it's not face to face. That would not help reduce the workload of the HCP. What I'm hoping for is that the patient can simply email the HCP to communicate the desired changes, and the HCP would make the changes by themselves without the patient waiting live on the other end. Once the changes have been made, the HCP would just email the patient that the new setting is ready to be downloaded, and the patient simple download and install it on the HAs then try it out.

    If it can be done like that, it truly is going to be game changing as far as the ease of fitting can become.

    I'm afraid it will be the former not the latter as that puts the adjustment control out of the reach of the Audiologist, BUT it makes for a really interesting quandry for Resound, especially given their recent stance on Web based sales.

    The audiologist could have a web clinic once or twice a week and book appointments just like any other clinic. It would be good for all those people who live a long way from the clinic or who find it a big ordeal to leave their home due to mobility issues.

    Pretty bold statement but it says little

    one can achieve 50% better at identifying by getting new glasses (while id speech it says nothing about clarity)

    While this remote adjustment ability may be big news for Resound going forward - there is nothing tangible here that makes me think I will HEAR SPEECH any better with these than with the Linx2. In fact, the "% Better" claims sound a little familiar.
