Thread: Announcing ReSound LiNX 3D: GN Pioneers a New Hearing Care Experience

  1. Default

I received my ReSound 3D's from BuyHear on Monday 7/24, just a few hours before our 6 grand children (ages 16 to 25) gathered for a week of activities. We were in noisy restaurants and outdoor activities.
I had request that the right ear adjustment buttons were set to cycle through the 4 programs and the left ear adjustment buttons control volume. Everything worked great! So nice to have button controls handy...on my ears.
With my iPhone those and more adjustments are available and work great. Floyd

I never thought of being ashamed or anything. I discreetly touch my ear and press the program button and don't think anyone else has ever noticed. I've had aids for 13 years. I know you were replying to someone else so I hope you didn't mind my putting my two cents in. Sometimes you don't have a choice - app doesn't work with android; not buying an iphone to see if the app hopefully works. Android reviews for app have been around 2.5.

I think doc was making fun of all the iPhone connectivity where people can discretely make adjustments. I don't think he meant anyone should be ashamed of touching their aids at a restaurant.

Always said most folks on here are wrapped way too tight!! Not sure why you need to be switching between programs regularly. Get you your default program adjusted correctly.

I don't have an aid right now as I am getting another brand, but I know I need to change programs to music alot and I remember my old Widex gave me a comfort program that made things softer in loud places. I just hope my audilogist picks a good hearing aid tht works.

I agree with this statement. If the hearing aids are properly setup, the auto mode should handle 80% of the listening environments.
