    You'll need to make sure that you reprogram your OPN to match the closed dome profile, too. You shouldn't just swap the open dome for the closed dome without updating the program setting for it.

    I notice the new Widex Beyond has an EQ setup . Their iPhone app certainly looks way more detailed in what you can do compared to the OPN . Widex appears to be coming to the table in a big way compared to just a short time ago . I've been wearing too of the Oticon for 8 years now . I turned down a pair of Widex twice because they were not connected like the Oticon . That may change on my next pair in the next 2 years .

    Thanks again, that's good to know. I will make the change in my programming once I get a set of closed domes.

    Custom " Skeleton Earmolds " are the only way to go.

    Im not sure why people spend thousands on having the very best hearing aids possible and then insist on combining them with irritating disposable ear buds. Maybe they are thinking the hearing aid is less visible but in reality skeleton earmolds are not going to make hearing aids easier to detect.
