Not an EE but a Ham. You may get another/better answer. If you ran the pair shown, I would think there would be a capacitive/phase linkage that would denigrate the signal. You would want a single, solid-copper, wire run. You might test for having a true ground for the equipment sending the signal. Keep it away from metal objects as much as possible.

    Hi Everyone.
I reading all these wonderful threads about the loop system.
I'm wondering if it would help me.
I have profound hearing loss and use captions for the tv.
One of my biggest complaints is that when watching a tv program that has music involved, I cannot hear the music, just the dialogue.
Would a loop system help with this.

I know my aids have a telecoil, but they are not set to a program channel yet.

Has anyone had any problems with when you activate your telecoil, to one channel it effects sound quality on another channel ?
Had a person tell me that this happens.

    Thanx for your help.

It should provide better clarity. Before you try it, make sure your TV is set to stereo rather than surround. The surround sound emphasizes background sounds. Also, many TV's can be set to speech which will also help. May soundbar also has a feature called "clear speech" which helps. There are several soundbars that provide that feature.
