It looks great but a study on people who were born with SNHL also need to be studied. Most kids don't have cord blood stored anywhere - doctors usually just throw it away. If another hospital starts studying people like me, I will be more excited about that study.

From the link it seems that hearing develops late in the life of a fetus.

The study will be completed in 2015 (estimated). 6 million cells per kg of body weight will be via IV.
