Default Phonak Versata Art Hearing Aids in conversation

I purchased A pair of bte Versata Art aids in 2010. I hear OK at the start of the day. However, when I am in conversation with someone in a room with other people, I experience a drop in volume, and the words fuzzy and
not understandable. Raising the volume only makes it worse. After 25 trips to the Specialist (including sending them to the factory for repair), they are no better and I was informed that nothing more could done. It must be my ears. Four different fitted ear molds(skeletons) and 1 pair of power doubles domes also were tried. Does anyone know what might be happening?
