basic help...please

I just got the Oticon Agil Pro hearing aids and the doctor gave me power domes. They are soooooooooooooooo uncomfortable. I'm going back tomorrow to see if I can get some other domes. Can anyone give me any advice about size and shape of the domes or some way to make them feel more comfortable. I admit that I have some sensory issues and don't like the way things feel often so I know these make be bugging me more than other people. Any help will be appreciated.

If your ears are sore then they may not be the right size. Do they stay in ok?

I do not like the full occlusion of the power domes. I use the open tulip style but it depends on your hearing loss as to whether you can use open domes. When I can't wear the tulips any more I will go to a custom mold with a vent.

The open domes, the tulip domes, and the closed power domes should all be super comfortable (except for the occlusion feeling of the power domes). So, discomfort in the actual fit means something is not right.
