Default Successfully cultured auditory neurons

Scientists at the University of Kyoto (Japan) has grown into the auditory nerve cells on the basis of the original advantage of multi-functional stem cells (iPS) from mouse skin.
This result is beneficial for the treatment of people with hearing loss due to reducing the number of auditory nerve caused.
Professor Shinya Yamanaka Ito Shoua and Kyoto University led the team performing the work culture of the auditory nerve cells on the basis of the original iPS cells created from skin cells of mice.
After that, scientists have transplanted neurons into the original hearing in the cochlea of newborn rats.
After a month, most of the transplanted cells developed very rapidly and form the cochlear nerve - a nerve will cause hearing loss if they are reduced or lost.
Before that the team successfully cultured auditory neurons on the basis of the original advantage of embryonic stem cells, then implanted into mice with damaged auditory nerves and has improved the ability of hearing of the mouse.
The cultured cells of the auditory nerve on the basis of the original iPS cells can help avoid rejection problems.
So Japanese scientists say the results are beneficial for the treatment of those suffering from hearing loss due to reducing the number of auditory nerve caused.
In addition, the experiment demonstrates, iPS cells have different origins and potentially the production of cancer cells, so in subsequent studies, the scientists will select iPS cells suitable for perform transplants original neurons correctly and efficiently. /.

Unfortunately, I think the original poster is a spambot. The link has nothing to do with hearing or this forum.

You are unlikely to get a reply.
