Default Fixing my hearing aid's plastic case

I have a hearing aid that fits into my hear. It works fine, except that a little piece of plastic broke off at the tip at the entrance of the hole where the sound come out.

It had once broken two years ago or so and the audiologist glued the piece back on. This time I was cleaning and carelessly unglued a small piece. I've lost the small piece. I'm now far away from where I got my hearing aid, in a new city and don't know anyone reliable who could fix it for me without trying to sell me a new hearing aid. I thought initially of just getting some superglue and putting some glue on so the other parts do not fall off. However, I'm concerned about the exposure of superglue inside my hear for a prolong period of time.

What can I do to help to help fix my hearing aid?

Default Avoid Super-Glue

Repairs depend upon the size of the piece that was lost. When I wore CICs I often used ADCO Hard Add On to "build up" the shell. This also worked to patch small areas of the shell.

You should be able to find a dispenser to re-shell the aid for you. Don't worry about the sales push - just ask for a re-shell.

Good Luck!
