Just acquired a new set of HA's. I was shopping for a dryer & came across this at costco: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...se=&lang=en-US.
anyone have any experience with this device? For $30 I thought I'd at least give it a try befor I plunked down $100 for the dry & store. TIA |

Well I tried to find a review on this and I couldn't. 30 day guarantee doesn't sound good, and I don't like the sound of the instructions saying "allow the aids to return to room temperature" $100 for Dry and Store which gets great reviews doesn't seem like a lot of money after plunking down $4000-$6000 for the aids.

It was mentioned on the Forum, a few weeks ago, that fixing up a container with dry, uncooked rice in it and a piece of gauze over the rice would act like a drier for HAs. I only wear mine about 5 hours a day so I imagine they don't accumulate much moisture and something simple like this may be a good solution to the problem of drying HAs. I'v been wondering whether to put the lid on the container or leave it open to air. Anybody know about this?

I use a Dry & Store, no question about it, the best preventative maintenance for hearing aids.
Good luck
